Sound with Diane OliverI first discovered I enjoyed working with sound when I began to work with mantra - working with my voice was terrifying to start with but beginning to work with the vibration of bija sounds such as OM began to transform my life and build my confidence.
Around this time, I was also reconnecting with land based spirituality and beginning to journey to the beat of a shamanic drum or rattle. In 2014, I birthed my first drum with Ros Simons and in 2015, I signed up to journey the wheel of the year with the Celtic trees and Ros. This was the year she launched her bespoke Celtic Tree Notes - a set of tuning forks which vibrate to the frequency of the trees themselves and this began my journey with vibrational sound medicine. Since then I have gone on to work with a wide range of frequencies and began training as a sound therapist in 2019 - finally completing my training spring 2023. I work with tuning forks, shamanic style drums, sound pipes, chime bars and native American style flutes.I |
I'm excited to be offering some therapies
I'm finally getting round to completing my tuning fork sound practitioner training and am seeking folks who would like to experience the benefits of vibrational medicine as part of my programme of case studies. I'm also offering Aromatouch technique again - this is an essential oil experience where oils are applied along meridian lines on your back and feet to promote relaxation, clearing of toxins and then re-energise 45 minute treatment ~ £30 |

Developed over the past ten years, the Dru Back Care programme was created by a team of highly-regarded professionals including a physician, osteopath, physiotherapist and others with expertise in back care.
These 4-6 week programmes are for anyone who suffers from long term back pain and aims to provide you with the skills, movement and confidence to help care for your back and your overall wellbeing. |
Complimenting the Yoga for Back Care, Yoga for Wellbeing uses movement and postures along with focussed breathwork to settle our mind and emotions. Bringing our internal environment into balance, enabling our outer world to be more harmonious.
These classes are for everyone. We all benefit from feeling better about ourselves and our life. Being able to find a sense of peace and know which practices work best for us, helps us cope with everyday life. |
I love the flexibility of yoga - when I wrecked the ligaments in my knee skiing several years ago, my initial, personal practice was done lying down with lots of breathwork and visualisation. I taught my classes from a chair, exploring ways to get myself up and down from the floor and I observed how well my body responded.
Since then I have used what I learned to share yoga with a range of people with balance challenges, injuries, pain or who have been undergoing medical treatment. |
